AGRICULTURAL FILINGS
The Food Security Act of 1985, Sec. 1324 was adopted by nineteen states and requires central notification and filing of farm product liens. CT Lien Solutions will file and track these filings when the completed forms are submitted to our service teams.
Please note that filings made under the Federal Food Security Act are not the same as State Agricultural Liens covered under Revised Article 9.
Links to access the appropriate forms are listed below. As the result of jurisdictional variances, please note that required filings may have different labels including EFS, CNS, etc. In some cases, the National UCC Form is required with an Ag Lien accompanying it.
To submit an agricultural filing:
Fill out the correct form from the list of links below, and obtain any required signature(s).
Via iLienOnline:
- Create a new UCC Filing in iLienOnline through your portfolio and click on "Submit Filing."
- From the "Filing Submission Page" go to the dropdown menu next to CT Lien Solutions and choose "Upon Receipt of Final Documents." Then, select “Next” to go to the “Additional Services” page.
- On the "Additional Services" page, enter "EFS Filing" (or appropriate filing name) in the Special Instructions Box.
- Submit Filing.
- Print the iLien Cover Page.
